  1. Makes me want to cry... how can the medical community do this so callously to people? I'm thankful everyday that we decided not to do steroids for our 2 yr old... I can't imagine.

  2. Oops, I accidentally posted in an old entry. I will post it again here:

Wow. I want to say first of all what a wonderful woman you are for sticking to your man and accepting him regardless of his condition. I have someone in my life but I always run away when she gets close because I am ashamed of my skin condition. My condition is isolated to my eyebrows. I believe it is seb dermatitis. It has taken away almost all of my eyebrows and it has destroyed my self confidence. Do you have any advice? I will continue watching your blog.

  3. I take my hat of to you - this is such an amazing thing you are doing. So many people out there put their trust into what is prescribed by their doctors and dermatologists even if it ends up hurting them more. This is so sad and, like Benevit Med said, it makes my heart want to cry out too.

Oh Dear.. My life has just turned dark. Thinking I was drug free, and proud of it.. I decided to finally cease my dreaded Steroid Cream. It was the last Pharmaceutical prescription item I used. After following a wholesome candida diet and thinking I was in optimum health, I was a bit concerned at the fact that my excema still persisted even with all the applications of this magic cream. I was also in denial until I realised I couldn't go away, even for a couple of days without packing the golden Celestone M cream. So then I said to myself. "Simple solution" the cream can go to the bin, and I will just deal with the little petty flare-ups of excema err.. Naturally".
Well that was only 12 days ago, and I have been to hell since. (and not come back yet). My life, has taken a downward turn to suffering. It started a minimal amount of dotty itchy excema, and in just a small few days, I have bright red, lumpy hives, and scaly bleeding patches spreading all over my whole body.. And still cant believe it. Also Im coming to terms with the fact that things are getting worse day by day.. I have resorted to antihistamines to settle me, but have not slept more than 2 hours each night. Thank goodness for your wonderful Blog, as its the only ray of hope. I believe Im in for a long journey, as each hour passes, my skin has new areas of lumpy scaly, redness. I held the sinister tube of steroid in my hands and almost smeared it all over me yesterday.. and also was tempted to reach for the evil bottle of Prednisone, which my GP prescribed last time I had a chronic flare-up. Just coming to terms with the fact that I am now an addict.. is shocking. But my diseased body means no social activity, and time off work, plus isolation, and depression. So thanks for sharing Jakes story. It gives me hope. :)

  9. I just came across the picture of Jake in the bath and said to my wife OMG that looks like me, I have been out of steroids for almost a month now and will never go back to them now that I see what it actually causes and really glad I found this before I went back to the DR. My eczema is flared so bad on my legs they are oozing and the rest of my body is red and itchy, Jake you have given me hope that I can make it through this torturous disease. Libby you are amazing as is my wife to stay with someone who doesn't want the world to see them for the monsters they feel like. Thank you both for the inspiration to get through this.

  10. howdy just another soldier trying to deal with this crap its got me good as well, I ended up going to an immunologist who put me on neoral a anti rejection medication to try to slow it down, I have exactly the same symptoms and have dealt with it to some extent my whole life (30 plus years) the treatment just doesn't seem to work any more. I constantly feel like im on fire, can't sleep zero comfort, and slowly feel myself withdrawing from interacting with people. the doc says I have eczema and psoriasis does this sound like im in the same boat?? Regards another fed up sufferer :-(

  11. Hello brave fellow Topical Steroid Withdrawal suffers! My heart goes out to everyone brave enough to withdraw from steroids. I fully relate to Jake's story, having shed half a dustpan of skin every day, red flaky burning skin, months of sleepless nights, convulsions, cold shivers and itchiness like you wouldn't believe. Not knowing what I was getting myself into by going completely natural, I can say that you WILL come through it! I was prescribed cortisone for 31 years and I am so grateful to have discovered a nutritional system which helped me immensely..after 3 months my skin significantly cleared up and I can step out in public in confidence! Stay strong! Thank you for the brave shares everyone.

  14. Foderma serum worked for me when nothing else helped with reoccurring blotches of eczema. I read reviews for a number of products and settled on trying foderma serum about a month ago. I use it twice daily; and for the first time in over 1 year the skin in that area looks healthy and normal.

  16. My life is beautiful thanks to you, Mein Helfer. Lord Jesus in my life as a candle light in the darkness. You showed me the meaning of faith with your words. I know that even when I cried all day thinking about how to recover, you were not sleeping, you were dear to me. I contacted the herbal center Dr Itua, who lived in West Africa. A friend of mine here in Hamburg is also from Africa. She told me about African herbs but I was nervous. I am very afraid when it comes to Africa because I heard many terrible things about them because of my Christianity. god for direction, take a bold step and get in touch with him in the email and then move to WhatsApp, he asked me if I can come for treatment or I want a delivery, I told him I wanted to know him I buy ticket in 2 ways to Africa To meet Dr. Itua, I went there and I was speechless from the people I saw there. Patent, sick people. Itua is a god sent to the world, I told my pastor about what I am doing, Pastor Bill Scheer. We have a real battle beautifully with Spirit and Flesh. Adoration that same night. He prayed for me and asked me to lead. I spent 2 weeks and 2 days in Africa at Dr Itua Herbal Home. After the treatment, he asked me to meet his nurse for the HIV test when I did it. It was negative, I asked my friend to take me to another nearby hospital when I arrived, it was negative. I was overwhite with the result, but happy inside of me. We went with Dr. Itua, I thank him but I explain that I do not have enough to show him my appreciation, that he understands my situation, but I promise that he will testify about his good work. Thank God for my dear friend, Emma, I know I could be reading this now, I want to thank you. And many thanks to Dr. Itua Herbal Center. He gave me his calendar that I put on my wall in my house. Dr. Itua can also cure the following diseases ... Cancer, HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis B, Inflammatory Liver, Diabetis, Fribroid,Parkinson's disease,Inflammatory bowel disease ,Fibromyalgia, recover your ex. You can contact him by email or whatsapp, @ .. drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com, phone number .. + 2348149277967 .. He is a good doctor, talk to him kindly. I'm sure he will also listen to you.

The period of HIV infection to develop in the body is about three to four weeks. This period can, however, be longer up to 3 months and in rare cases up to 6 months. Most people generally develop detectable HIV antibodies by current method within 3 months of infection or to 6 months before it expand to years.Dr Akhigbe feel for patienas as his own sons and daughters he sent my herbal medicine through UPS express delivery and it took me 5 working days before i received it, he also instruction me on on how to use it. he is a good caring doctor he must write me each day to know if am following up with the herbal merdicine for good three weeks before he later order me to go to hoapitle for another test and i get a surprise result, that was how i get my freedom from the hand of hiv/aids.Dr Akhigbe also use his herbal medicine to cure diseases like HERPES ,HIV/AIDS , DIABETES , CANCER , ALS etc for his help please reach him through his email drrealakhigbe@gmail.com or whatapp him +2348142454860
