Quick Update

If you are new to our story please visit Here.

Just wanted to drop by quickly, say Jake is healed (I will post pics sometime soon) and I can see that so many other people are starting to write blogs and starting the withdrawal, so I just wanted to send some love and say that life is 1Million times better on the other side. We have stuck to living a Paleo inspired lifestyle, which we are loving learning about and seeing the benefits of it. Now I cannot imagine living any other way, and honestly makes me stick to think of the way Jake and I used to eat (Pizza, pasta, bread, cheese yada yada yada).

Stay Strong Warriors xxx

We want to thank Kathy from Witherspoons for supporting Jake with oils in the previous months, which may have helped in part of the healing. The website is Here. The one Jake liked was called Working Hands. He liked this oil because it went straight into the skin, kept him moist for quite some time, and it didn't sit on top of the skin.
With this condition it's so hard to pinpoint if something is actually working, or if it is just the time for that part of the process to heal. Nevertheless, the help we received from Kathy was amazing; such a kind and generous woman to help us like she has. Thank you Kathy xx

LOVE YOU JAKE, SO PROUD OF YOU AND US XOX

  3. Hey Guys,

Thanks for this post. I was on a super strict diet all year long, skin was doing well, then I went to the states and bought some over the counter cortisone (I'm Canadian, we need a prescription here to do that) while I was on vacation for a quick fix up.

Wow, it made the rashes 100x worse. I thought it was from all the alcohol I drank during the trip, but you guys proved to me it was from the cortisone. My arm was literally peeling off. Rashes on my entire upper body, thank god I didn't use any on my face or neck I'd look like a beet right now.

Thanks for creating this blog. I'll never use cortisone ever again. Jake you look great bro, that was the scariest eczema battle I've ever read about in my life, but the fact you came out without any major scars or wrinkles is amazing to me. You're really a standing ovation to the whole ezcema community, you battled it, sacrificed everything and were hella disciplined. Kudos to your girlfriend too for standing by you throughout that whole thing. I always thought women would be scared off completely by how bad ezcema can get, and yours looked terrifying. But that was a serious testament to how much she cares about you.
